These terms and conditions apply to the Volu app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or utilizing the Application, you agree to these terms and conditions. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms before using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Modifications and Charges

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. They reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider will clearly communicate any charges for the Application or its services.

Personal Data and Security

The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided to the Service Provider to provide the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions imposed by the official operating system. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

  • Google Play Services
  • AdMob
  • Google Analytics for Firebase

Internet and Data Usage

Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection, which can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance. When using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, you may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage, including roaming data charges. You accept responsibility for any such charges and confirm that you have obtained permission from the bill payer if you are not the bill payer for the device.

User Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to ensure that your device remains charged and in good working condition. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if your device runs out of battery or malfunctions and you are unable to access the Service.

Liability and Updates

While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application updated and accurate, they rely on third parties to provide some of the information. The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from reliance on the functionality of the Application. The Application may be updated periodically. You agree to accept updates to the Application when offered. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be updated to be relevant to you or compatible with your device's operating system. The Service Provider may also cease providing the Application and terminate its use at any time without notice. Upon termination, you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.

Legal Compliance

The Application is intended to connect part-time job seekers with job posters. Users must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including employment regulations. Specifically, in Singapore, foreign individuals must adhere to government regulations regarding employment. The Service Provider does not support or condone illegal employment activities and will cooperate with authorities to ensure legal compliance. Users are responsible for ensuring their eligibility to work in accordance with Singaporean law before using the Application.

Account Deletion Requests

  • Request Process: If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please send a request to volu2854@gmail.com. Include your account information in the request so we can process it.
  • Data Deletion: Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account and associated data as per our data retention policy. This includes all personal information collected from your use of the Application. Certain data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • Retention Period: We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations. Data associated with deleted accounts will be removed within a reasonable time frame after the request is processed.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 2024-08-12.
